Walk grade: Moderate hard (Significant incline)

This guided ghost walk explores some of the most unsettling stories from Dawley’s past, from grim historical realities to unexplained happenings. Participants will hear chilling accounts drawn from eyewitness testimonies, local folklore and documented events that have shaped the area’s mysterious reputation. The walk combines history with storytelling to create an engaging and atmospheric experience.

The duration of this walk is approximately 2hrs.

Forever? Really?

Actress and writer Elli Mackenzie thinks so and in this moving and yet hilarious work of autobiographical theatre Elli, explores the highs and lows, the frustrations, the joy, the bizarre and downright unbelievable aspects of raising children whilst running a family business *.

Join Elli, her husband Andy, an orangutan and a giant woodlouse as Oddsocks presents an “amazing” and “refreshingly honest piece of theatre.”

A must for mothers or anyone who has a mother.

*You don’t have to join Elli forever; the show lasts one hour and fifteen minutes.”

Track Adaptive Bike Session

First Saturday of the month | One-hour session | £7.50 per person to end May | £8.50 per person from June onwards

Saturday Adaptive Bike sessions will be running at Oakengates Leisure Centre as part of their inclusive Leisure offer at the running track.

The track has a fence surrounding the perimeter with a single gate for access. We will have a range of adaptive bikes to cater for a mixture of abilities; from side-by-side tandems to carer-controlled trikes and even a wheelchair loader!

This session is run with the support from DISKS Community Group

Our instructors will be there to help set up the bikes and help with any issues regarding the bikes. Please note we do have support staff on site, participants will still need to bring the level of support they require. This is not a drop off session.

Adults’ Activity Day

Outdoor activity day | Saturday 21st March | 9.30am to 4pm | Suitable for people aged 18+ | £40 | All participants to book a ticket and complete the Consent Form

We begin at the Arthog Outreach Centre at 9.30am where you will be greeted by Tom. You will be kitted out with the appropriate safety equipment and then hop on one of our minibuses for the short journey to the chosen destination. The bus journey may be up to 40 minutes long.

The activity will be planned by Tom during the weeks running up to the day to suit the needs of the participants and the predicted weather.

As our activities are adventurous, in extreme weather conditions, plans may need to be changed.

Childrens (10-17 yrs) Instructor Led Climbing Club (Thursday Afternoon)

5 week course | Thursdays 12th November to 10th December | 4pm to 5.30pm | Suitable for 10 to 17 year-olds | £37

The climbing club sessions are suitable for participants of all levels of experience.

Everyone will have the opportunity to just climb or develop their skills and knowledge under the guidance of a qualified and experienced climbing instructor.

There will also be the opportunity to work through the National Indoor Climbing Awards Schemes (NICAS)* Levels 1 and 2.
NICAS enables individuals t develop safe practice with the reassurance of a national standardised quality assured scheme and develops competence and confidence.

The children’s climbing club is supported by The Georgia Williams Trust.

Childrens (10-17 yrs) Instructor Led Climbing Club (Tuesday Afternoon)

Psychic Supper

The evening will include a 2 Course meal and 3 psychics joining your table giving messages and readings. Bring friends along and join us in a comfortable environment. Main meal is pre booked and dessert done via token to visit our tempting dessert table! The bar will be open for drinks.

Doors Open 7pm food service begins 7.20pm. Event usually ends around 10pm.

All seats will be reserved so if you need to sit with someone else who has booked separately please let contact the venue directly Tables of 10 will be exclusive to your group and numbers under we will add others to join your table.

Come along with your friends and family and join us for a fun-filled Pancake Activity Morning! Enjoy freshly made pancakes while taking part in pancake games, crafts, and activities for all ages. A relaxed and tasty way to start the day together. Open to all – everyone’s welcome!
