The Rise Of The Beatles

Tickets £24 | Doors open 6.45pm | Show starts 7.30pm

The Rise Of The Beatles is a brand-new, unique, immersive and memorable celebration of the greatest group of all time.

Moving staunchly away from the standard tribute band format and presenting a fresh perspective that bridges the gap between concert show and theatrical narrative, The Rise of the Beatles follows John, Paul, George and Ringo – and a few others along the way – as they wind their way through Hamburg’s seedy backstreets, to Liverpool’s sweat-drenched Cavern Club, to a performance that shook the world as we knew it under the patronage of Ed Sullivan, and eventually changed the way live music is performed forever with incendiary shows at Shea Stadium and Candlestick Park.

Focusing on the band’s formative years rather than the well-trodden path towards their eventual dissolution, the show begins with an immersive and exciting peek into the 1957 village fete where the greatest songwriting partnership the world has ever seen began.

Traversing the influences of Elvis, Lonnie Donegan and Fats Domino, and utilising an authentic, curated selection of instruments from the time, this is as close to the skiffle craze of 1950s Britain as it’s possible to get.

From there, it’s a non-stop journey through the Beatles’ early catalogue and their unique blend of rock ’n’ roll, blues and tight vocal harmonies that shaped the sound of all pop music that followed. You’ll hear all your favourites – Please Please Me, Ticket to Ride, Yesterday – alongside a whole host of the cover versions that gave the Beatles the edge over all their contemporaries: You Really Got a Hold on Me, Hippy Hippy Shake, Ain’t She Sweet and so much more.

With each segment of the show punctuated with masterful narration courtesy of Martin Teall, The Rise of the Beatles not only presents a selection of music that simply isn’t played anywhere else, but also paints a vivid and evocative picture of what it was actually like to be there at the time and see it all unfold in front of you.

No funny wigs and absolutely no dodgy Liverpool accents. Just a completely peerless and utterly thrilling celebration of the making of the greatest group of all time.
