All fiction authors lie somewhere on the Plotter/Pantser spectrum, at one extreme planning every twist, turn and character trait from beginning to end, at the other, writing the faltering words of their first sentence and seeing where they lead. Most are somewhere in between.
The truth is, it doesn’t matter which approach you take, getting words down from the first to the last page is the ultimate goal.
In this workshop we’ll explore techniques for taking an initial idea on to producing a complete framework for writing a novel – or even just a scene where you’re stuck. Whether you’re a new or experienced writer, there will be hints and tips to help the task easier.
The workshop will be led by Charlie Garratt, author of seven novels.
