The Trail of Thomas Love is the musical adventure of Shropshire born songwriter and photographer Nathan Tromans.
Working with Dylan Line (Soft Hearted Scientists), Sam Harding (Black Rapids) John Large (Black Rapids, Major Toms) and producer Tom Livemore, they have shared the stage with a number of artists, including; Jose Gonzales, James Yorkston, Teddy Thompson, Joan as Policewoman, Vigilantes of Love, Ethan Johns, Steve Gun and Mojave 3.
The Trail of Thomas Love is rooted in Shropshire’s Severn Gorge, playing dark, slow music, exploring the myths of the surrounding landscape, the longings of it’s real and imagined characters and their journeys and homecomings.
Where applicable, advertised ticket prices are inclusive of a venue levy, retained by the venue to maintain our programme of arts and entertainment.
Taking inspiration from a continent and language spanning mix of bards and storytellers, Shrewsbury based singer-songwriter and self-styled ‘Anglo-Chanteur’ Vincent Whyte has, over the past decade, diligently won the affection of audiences across the country with his live performances and recorded output.
With his idiosyncratic classical guitar playing style (blending folk, flamenco, ragtime and bossa nova), and songs that straddle the fine line between heartfelt sincerity and tongue-in-cheek drollness, Vincent Whyte’s ambition is a simple one - to create songs worth remembering.
