Rat Pack Christmas Show

Rat Pack Christmas Show

The star studded cast of The Rat Pack Christmas show have achieved many accolades and awards after appearances worldwide, including seasons in The West End, A Royal Command Performance and numerous T.V shows including Strictly Come Dancing for The BBC last year.

The show which also had the honour of being voted the number 1 Tribute Show by The Agents Association of Great Britain, at The National Tribute Awards, makes a welcome return to Telford to kick off the Christmas season.

Cast members include: Des Coleman (Central T.V’s popular Weather Presenter) as Sammy Davis Jnr, Paul Drakeley (Inside Out) as Dean Martin and Ol’ Blue Eyes himself in the shape of one of the world’s greatest Sinatra interpreters David Alacey (Lovejoy). David’s acclaimed portrayal of Sinatra has been described as “Too close for Comfort” by The Sinatra Estate and Las Vegas Legend - original Rat Pack member Buddy Greco claimed that David “Really is Sinatra – it’s frightening!”

Together they amaze audiences with their recreation of the music of Sinatra, Martin and Davis, in a fabulous show which brings the style and excitement of the Las Vegas heyday to vivid life. Including all the great hits - My Way, Mr Bojangles, New York New York, Amore and Many more.

Now together with their swinging Orchestra under the Direction of BBC Musical Director Mac Shone and the stunning L.A Showgirls, they are joined in this lavish production by Special Guests - the legendary Don Maclean MBE and Charley Toulan as the iconic Marilyn Monroe.

Don Maclean has been a T.V regular since his days as the resident comic on Crackerjack for the BBC. He also hosted his own show – Good Morning Sunday on Radio 2 for sixteen years, which he broadcast from destinations around the world. Just as the Rat Pack at The Sands had Joey Bishop to add even more comedy to their unique performances, Don who is known as the machine gun of quick-fire gags will have audience members in fits of laughter with a joke for every possible subject including of course the holiday season.

Charley Toulan will perform many of the great songs associated with Marilyn, including: Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend and “My Heart Belongs To Daddy” She will also recreate an historic moment in Rat Pack history, by serenading a member of the audience with a special performance of Happy Birthday.

Featuring seasonal classics such as “Winter Wonderland”, “Let It Snow” and of course “White Christmas”. This special Christmas show is guaranteed to bring back festive memories for all the family!
